I thought I'll use the tripod but I didn't oh well and today took all the equipment back to tech and now printing out things I need for my other class along with editing my blog, its so quiet sometimes (building in the library - maybe upgrade??), using the fishbowl room

I'll edit 3mins later and 7mins at home

 I had to watch from the beginning of the audio just cause I forgot where I was the last time 

its so long to watch on audio alone, there's so many things to remember and so much things to take with you if working in a studio but its true to have crew who know what they are doing

 Likely I was helping my bro with the camera as he only hold it for me while I look from his side and zoom in and out so it was practice for both of us but more on me  which I don't mind I just had fun doing the video

editing it was so hard to remember but lucky I saw the purple box on the bottom and I was fine and Thanks Glen for me to hand it in later :)

I forgot how to move closer to the video and audio so I look up how to on youtube just didn't have enough time had class soon

I was still editing my work as it did take me awhile to get some things in and in right place  and I export it so  many times just cause I forgot and had to look back and yep it helped me out and now on the server but I may edit again properly and delete the other but still hold it in my usb

Today I had to make another backup just in case I forget one of the usbs that I use









I edit my work in the computer just because couldn't get the pictures and place them on my laptop in paint so I did on the spare laptops from Deb (re)
i still use my pictures in my usb and use the paint to make it like it is

I was thinking to add Genie from Aladdin in my editing today of my 3 minutes but we don't have Aladdin nor do I  booked the equipment but oh well

just keep editing it, just now met Rob who will be helping Glen on Wednsday's

I was still editing when Glen and Rob came through to see what we were doing or up to, I still have lots to edit I was going to use Tangled but it was too long - didn't realize until I was almost over the limit so I delete from my video

but I still use the editing one from my laptop but have to change the video around and add everything into the folder for imports and lucky I save my work on usb and the mac

Okay well I got lots of practise's but I still make mistakes with small things sorry to the ones I add to my video sorry I didn't let them sign paper so I have to put them as cosplayer's and things,  Yet they did agree to be in just didn't sign in that's all

The next time I go some where like that I will have a piece of paper and pen, try not to get nerous while trying to talk to others who are unknown to me and another crew member as the only ones were me and my brother Dave.  So the other crew member would hold the paper and get the person to sign in and yeah make sure its easy to read too.

So yeah that what I'll do for the next time, when I was doing this or my three mins video, I actually like it, I mean I wouldn't mind having hands on deck with me when I do this ( another video)

I just transfer my recordings and video into my laptop as a backup until I get another usb

 also watching Sunday I saw the names on the bottom so I'll do that in my video or edit my 3 mins one again with that

I try to do some editing at home and I try to transfer my work but not working of yet so I had to transfer all the work over into my usb and hope it works if not I'll just edit it all over again

listening to the sounds I can only hear it on one side which I don't know why on (earphones - new)

but yep I redo some bits in the editing I was glad that it worked but I still have to edit more, I was thinking about our next one seven minutes long one I was wondering if it can be another thing that we can chose because on the 24 April 2016 there be a event in the city and its first opening and I was going to be a presenter and bro camera (Dave, I ask if he can and yes was his answer, ask before hand)

its so hard to get the right sound on the recorder to go with the video I'm not sure but I can hear the sound of the recorder going in the background with classmates so that's why I didn't use them but its in the editing in mute

I couldn't edit my one that's at home on my laptop with the one I edited at tech is that my version of the Premiere Pro is not new but old version as Tech's (M.I.T) has new version and properly up to date

next time I'll update my laptop's PR and see where it will take me....

14.4.16 redo classmates video, 16.4.16 video again plus on 17.4.16 and 18.4.16 editing on my laptop

Well I ask Mele, Stephanie and Caroline again and well I ask Johnson during break if he wanted to be in and yep he did he signed the paper too I try to find a quiet yet lots of light in the room and the only room came to mind was our old classroom for Histories

I had to go to the city to do another interview with Seong, so I interview him in his store and my bro was the camera man so thanks bro, when we were done I did more video with the camera and mic yet I couldn't hear much on the earphones so I change the mic cord's end with a shorter one sorry can't remember the name of yet

looking at my other videos and recordings there's so many that I had to redo over and over again just to get it right through I got the hang of using the camera but may still need to know all the other buttons on the round button - to change gears I think.

Watching: Thinking in audio

I watch it but a couple of times to see or get what he meant and well Glen was right sound does come from the source and the closer the better
I learn that when I record on Sunday morning too as the place was too loud but I couldn't do much about it as my mate was work so hope my sounding went okay if not gotta go again but I got another plan to go to my BF and ask her  .

So listening to things that you usually don't pay attention to and around you.  So I'm going to listen to this

 Its is a bit nosy but can still hear other people in the background. This was taken at Manukau Armageddon Expo 2016.  When I look at this its a bit dark and I didn't use a camera but my phone for all my things that I do.  

Listening to any music its different again as its high quantity and better equipment,
editing my group 2 interview cause my first group is unusable at the moment until I redo their video, so I may not have the same people in my interview the next time I record.

What I will do next time....

Get the other people who wants to be in my video ready and they know the questions they will be answering as I text my sis the questions I be asking.  And I book a place if its around tech or in the city to find a quiet place or try to and have more people on standby just incase.
May get the mic and dead cat just incase I'm recording outside.

While I was editing, I was going to get the equipment from Ralph but some were not returned yet, so I hope its here tomorrow and Ralph showed me two different cameras but for me to many buttons and I didn't want to break them or wreck them because they were out of my knowledge and not good of remembering much in one go if I was shown again maybe it be okay for me to use, I better to be safe than sorry.


I just change the sound with their name so I know who was who and I'll do the same with the video.

second group interview 9.4.16 - 10.4.16

Today I practice on the camera and recorder just to get things ready for today and I camera my mum and I didn't know as I took it she want it and watch it

in this snapshot is Manukau my boy (dog) cause  my mum in the video but have not ask permission

I went and got the forms printed with my brother and then to my sister and her husbands and did my video and did a practise run for both sound and video

when I was videoing it took me not that long as my brother help me with the pod and now I know how to use the photography one the other may be a bit of learning

when I was going to do another interview with my friend in the city he wasn't here but getting ready for Japan day - which was Sunday as he owns GNC -  Graphic Novel Cafe

so later I looked at my first interview with my classmates  it was a bit too dark we use the room in the back which is the lunch room for the writers.

But listening to them all on recorder is good and clear, may have to listen again and watch again just to get it right

We were put into five or six groups to share the mics as some of us are doing interview we all touch the mic and recorder some bits and chose a leader and well Johnson was

- 12 is the best for recording

I have more but some are too loud so I put them all into the server for the rest of my group can use
